Drip campaigns allow you to create a marketing strategy that sends, or "drips", a series of messages to customers, subscribers or other prospects over time. These drip campaigns use message templates that can include emails or SMS communications, with each message to sent at a specified time interval following the previous message. An advantage over creating scheduled broadcast communications is that drip campaigns start relative to a user added to the campaign rather than at a strict time and date.


Additional messages can be added at any time. If the time interval from the previously sent message has already exceeded, the added messages will be sent immediately to existing profiles in the campaign.


To add a drip campaign, choose Drip Campaigns from the Communications page in your admin portal, then add Campaign.


To populate drip campaigns, from the desired campaign's settings simply add a message, select a pre-defined message template and enter the delay to wait after sending the previous message. If the first message in the campaign, the delay will be from when a user is added to the campaign.
